Money grabbing *** destroy private property

Google fiber crews are digging up yards, trespassing without permission and leaving home owners with no recourse, because google wont take responsibility for their actions. I will never use google fiber because they are bad neighbors despite the *** lies they tell when people complain. They give no notice nor allow discussion with property owners before beginning work. They block driveways and parking causing traffic hazards. Google needs to be involved at the street level and take ownership of any and all issues. As long as the dont they are nothing but thieves to the private citizens of this whole country. Google is too big to continue to exist this way.

Dissapointed! POOR SERVICE!

I was excited to have Google Fiber as an option in my area, so I scheduled an installation. What a nightmare. They came and connected the fiber to my house. I was not notified. In the process they cut my invisible fence. It took three weeks for them to fix the fence after multiple calls. They use contractors so the Google Fiber team was not very helpful, and their contractors don't speak English so it was very difficult to communicate with them. When the installer came, they told me they could not install it in my office, and it would need to be installed in my great room on the other side of the house because of where they installed the external box. I requested the box be moved. We scheduled an appointment. It was not moved and because of the time it took them to take care of it and it not being done they closed my account. Months later, after the invisible fence was repaired, I reopened the account. They sent their non-English-speaking contractors to move the external connection and wanted to run the fiber around the back of my house and up to the font on the other side. I declined that approach, and requested an English-speaking Manager to meet with me because I didn't understand why they couldn't keep it in front of my home and to discuss other options. No one ever came to meet with me, and they closed my account again. I surrender! I will not have Google fiber installed, They are too difficult to work with. Furthermore, I'm disappointed with the service and Google.

Internet out

My Google Fiber Internet went out at 4:30 AM on Saturday. They were sending a tech out around 5PM who ended up available and arrived several hrs early.

He tested inside and the outside where the box on the outside is and found nothing coming from the street pole to the box. Instead of being able to fix the issue, he said he had to escalate. Cust Svc said someone qould be here in 24-48 hours. 4 calls to their Cust Svc later I am still not able to have anyone give me an answer other than we outsource the pole work and you are on their list in order received.

It has been 2 missed days at work (work from home) 58 hours without internet and no idea when it will be fixed. Why can't 1 tech fix the issue instead of waiting for a 1st tech only to tell you he needs to send someone else and nobody can tell you when they will come?

I have had multiple internet issues causing me to have miss a few hours of work here and there, but this is totally unacceptable. If you work at home and rely on your internet for your livelihood, I do not recommend Google Fiber.

I had ordered service from them to install Google Fiber at my home address at Saturday 8:00 a.m. they came unannounced the next day to install the exterior line.

Saturday comes the driver pulls up and within 2 minutes takes off and I get an email saying that my request for cancellation was granted. I was pissed, still am. I contacted their customer support and they told me that the exterior line was not connected. I asked them why they didn't let me know until the day and time of the appointment and she lied saying that they just found out it wasnt connected that day.

She said that her staff tried to dig the line and connect it that morning even though my appointment was 8:00 a.m. and there was no way someone was going to dig a trench at 6:00 a.m. in the dark and screw it into the exterior wall. She had nothing to say to that and told me to make another appointment.

I asked her what guarantee do I have that you'll show up this time? No response to that either. It's unethical to write down that I canceled the appointment rather than admitting the fact that they messed up and didn't let me know. I spent my Saturday talking with AT&T to cancel my cancellation and because of which I lost my previously grandfathered in internet price.

It's been about 2 weeks and I've left messages, zero response, zero Reach Out. This is the kind of customer service you'll get from them.

Got Google Fiber connected on 10/13/2023. Also placed order to have phone ported over. It's now 11/06/2023 and the phone has not been ported nor can I get any information that's true from Google Fiber. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone at this point. The lady today was so rude I just hung up. There's no excuse for that at all. I'm paying for a service but getting nothing.

AI had scheduled to have installation done on my house about 6 months ago (just wanted more reliable connection than Xfinity) for a 12 o clock appt. I was told an installation team would be there ahead of the technician to run the line to my house. I received a call from the tech at 9 asking if he could come early. I changed plans and said yes. When he got here he said it wasn't installed correctly and they would come out. The installation team came out and resolved this. I contacted them back and they said they only had one appointment available over the next two weeks which was on a day/time that didn't work for me. When i expressed this was their mistake and they should provide more options they said sorry. So I decided I wouldn't move forward with them based on my experience. Not to mention the damage (canyon) they cut through my yard and covered the lines with rocks, leaves, etc. You can still see where the optic line cut is and it is sticking up in places. Fast forward 6 months - I decide to try again. I had an appointment for 1PM today. I am contacted at 8:06 by the tech asking if he can come earlier. I asked how long he said 20 min. so I told him I could be here in 30 and I came home from work. An hour goes by and I havent heard from or seen him. I send him a text asking where he was. 30 minutes after this he responds and says he got pulled into another job (dont know why he couldnt have advised me) and asked if he could come in an hour. Of course due to previous experience, I have no trust this is going to happen. I told him no, and I contacted customer service. Reply was we are sorry, do you want to schedule another appointment, with no other resolution. They didnt even have record of the issues from the first time. I would not recommend them at all.

Possible sewer line hit

Sewer is backing up. Plumber hasnt found any issues for over 110 feet of snaking. Contractors were here and digging lines. It is believed that they hit sewer line. Please contact me asap.

Damaged sprinkler line that Google fiber caused When installing

When Google fiber, install our fiber line, they inadvertently damaged a sprinkler pipe in the parking strip area. We called them to report the problem and they are scheduling a construction team to come out and fix the sprinkler pipe. No one has come out yet, but they said that they will schedule a construction crew to come fix the pipe within the next 10 days. We are very impressed that they responded so quickly.

In June a rep of google fiber dug up my yard and they dug up a cement block which still has to be buried back in the ground. I have tried to get someone to come out and look and fix it but to no avail.

Changed cards! Tried to submit payment, reset my password. Im very much unclear as to what I need to do. With our talking to someone it is hard to submit a payment and to know what to do!

Google fiber dug up my yard to lay down cable. They dug up a cement block that was part of the fire hydrant and they just left it. If you are going to dig in my yard the least thing you could do is put it back the way you found it. I am still waiting to have this corrected and it has been over 1 month.>Just a little pissed off.

Reliability is NOT 99.9%! Frequent and HOURS long outages! Customer support is POOR! Operators have NO solutions and don't know their own products. Service response to home requires days of waiting (while nothing works). If your home life depends on internet connectivity, GOOGLE fiber is BAD so far. Consider alternatives before becoming so dependent on the internet in your home. I'd hate to see what business service is like.
